John Dale
 

“If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it or validate it”

John Dale identifies sustainability projects that produce measurable and positive return on investment for businesses.

For over 20 years John has specialised in the IT sector managing large data storage consolidation, programming, IT management and midrange computer systems. He is the owner of GlobileNet which specialises in office communication systems.

Prior to IT, John specialised in the power industry, with extensive experience in power management, process control and telemetry systems. John leverages this combined experience to recognise sustainability projects that are achievable, have positive return on investment and may require diverse technologies to provide validated data for sustainability project reporting. John has a Bachelor or Business and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Susan Butler  

“The reward is knowing the technology delivers”

Susan Butler developed the knowledge-based framework at the core of Sustain Agility’s integrated sustainability solutions over five years of R and D. The framework, a marriage of science and technology is driven by commercial imperatives and high end strategy. Peer reviewed, the science has been validated through working with top environmental consultants.

Susan is conducting academic research in the design and development of a real time e-enabled sustainability performance indicator (eSPI) and tool for reporting single and portfolio operations. Susan is also the owner of Knowledge Global

Susan’s commercial experience includes developing global financial information systems in Japan, a senior management role for Sun Microsystems and the business development of knowledge based strategies and systems across sectors in Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and India.

Ross Sharman   

 “Technology is the enabler to identifying and measuring efficiency opportunities”

A technology focused sustainability consultant, Ross utilises his engineering background, business intelligence and analytics skills to help companies materialise a sustainability plan and increase their bottom line through energy and operational efficiencies.

Ross has an extensive technology background and has worked in large integration and Business Intelligence projects in Australia, the US and around Europe. This experience is backed up by a solid background in electrical and electronic engineering.

Most recently Ross is the Technical Director for Knowledge Global, designing and building a sustainability solution (called EMMA) for large property portfolios. This project received international acclaim winning the 2009 Green IT Architect Award from Oracle as well as accolades from independent software audits.

Ross is a certified to perform energy audits on behalf of the NSW Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water as part of the Energy Efficiency for Small Businesses initiative.
